Both businesses operate from our workshop at Monarto South, with customers and field staff across SA, Tasmania and Queensland.

About you

You are results-driven, big on customer service, and able to think outside the box to solve problems. You excel in working with primary producers who grow world-class produce and rely on our market-leading mechanised equipment so they can do what they do best.

Your skills, along with your passion and resilience, will see you lead our technical team in looking after our partners, dealers, and end customers across Australia.

What you'll be doing

- Optimising our workshop operations and field services.

- Getting to know our product and service range inside out, so you can wow our dealers and end customers.

- Turning frowns upside down through active outreach and communication.

- Spotting current opportunities to support our customers better.

- Leading the development of After Sales into a standalone business unit that supports customers and drives additional revenue.

Key responsibilities

Leadership

- Lead, supervise and develop workshop and field personnel.





- Set priorities and assign work.

- Define and set performance targets.

- Formulate and drive continuous improvement programs.

- Ensure compliance with WHS standards.

Workshop and production

- Manage capacity, delivery dates and resource planning.

- Optimise workflow planning, project profitability and cost control through job costing, with real-time tracking of labour and materials.

- Develop and maintain bills of materials for in-house projects to support accurate costing, repeatability and serviceability.

- Maintain quality standards through QA/QC protocols, including inspections, release approvals and documentation.

- Enforce orderly housekeeping.

Field

- Oversee field commissioning, equipment upgrades, and service and maintenance work as an extension of workshop operations.

After sales

- Engage proactively with customers and act as the main point of contact for service, repair and warranty requests.

What you'll need

Strong workshop management and leadership experience with the skills and passion to lead the team effectively.

Motivation and a track record of achieving business and financial objectives.

A sharp mind for new technology, and the drive to work with our team to develop and support new technologies for the industry.

Strong problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude and a flexible approach.

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Knowledge of CAD systems (highly regarded).

Solid computer skills.

A driver's licence and the freedom to travel.
