Summary:

Reporting to the Processing Crew Supervisor the Operator Copper Recovery plays a crucial role in the mining industry by ensuring the efficient extraction and processing of copper in solution. Based in Mount Morgan, Queensland, this permanent full-time position is essential for maintaining operational excellence and supporting the overall productivity of the mining site. The successful candidate will contribute to the sustainable management of resources while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor copper recovery circuit to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- Record and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain safety protocols.




- Assist in the training of new operators and provide guidance on best practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:.

- Proven experience in a mining or industrial workplace, preferably in copper recovery operations.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental practices in the mining industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Proficient in using monitoring and control systems related to copper recovery processes.
- Desirable:

- Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as mining, metallurgy, or engineering
