We are continuing to grow and are looking for a Field Technician to join our team servicing Bendigo and surrounding regional areas.

About the Role

This is a permanent full time position for a hands-on technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems and dealing directly with customers.

You will travel to customer sites throughout the Bendigo and surrounding regional areas to install, replace, maintain and troubleshoot a range of technical equipment.

Every day will be different. You will manage your allocated jobs, travel between sites, troubleshoot issues and ensure work is completed safely, accurately and within the required service timeframes.

The successful candidate must also be available for an on-call weekend roster approximately once per month.

What You'll Be Doing

- Attend customer sites throughout Bendigo and surrounding regional areas.

- Install, replace, maintain and troubleshoot a range of equipment.

- Perform testing, fault finding and basic technical troubleshooting.

- Manage your daily workload and complete jobs within required service levels.

- Diagnose problems, investigate faults and identify practical solutions.

- Complete accurate job notes, paperwork and system updates.

- Provide professional and friendly customer service at every site.

- Communicate with the Operations and Allocation teams regarding job progress, delays and issues.

- Manage company and client equipment and stock, including collection,



return and movement of equipment.

- Follow client and TFS procedures and ensure all work is completed safely.

- Escalate complex or unusual issues when required.

- Learn new equipment, systems and processes as our services continue to evolve.

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need years of technical experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, technical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous field service, IT, telecommunications, EFTPOS, electronics or similar experience (advantageous but not essential).

- A current Australian driver's licence.

- The ability to travel throughout Bendigo and surrounding regional areas.

- Good technical aptitude and confidence working with computer systems, networks, communications or electronic equipment.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Good attention to detail and the ability to complete work accurately.

- The ability to troubleshoot problems and develop practical solutions.

- The ability to work independently with limited supervision.

- The ability to remain calm and focused when working under pressure.

- A positive, flexible and solutions-focused attitude.

- A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.

You will also need to be comfortable working in a role where priorities can change throughout the day and where you may be required to learn new equipment and technologies.
