We are looking for a driven and experienced Finance Officer ready to step into an established, high-performing law firm and make the role their own.

About the Role

- General bookkeeping functions

- Trust accounting (experienced preferred, but training provided if not)

- Use of cloud-based accounting system Xero (or similar) in daily transactions

- Accounts receivable including raising sales invoices and following up overdue invoices

- Income tracking using Microsoft Excel and Xero

- Bank reconciliation, Trust and General accounts

- BAS reporting

- Accounts payable duties

- Payroll processing out of Xero (including superannuation)

- Budget reporting

- Etc.

This is an exciting role which encompasses both regulatory requirements and business performance aspects within a cooperative team environment.

About You

- Experienced bookkeeper or finance officer/manager





- Familiar with Xero accounting software or similar cloud-based software

- Experienced in Microsoft Excel

- Ability to work with a team to meet financial deadlines
