· Casual HST Officer position working Monday–Friday on 9-hour shifts.
· $45 per hour supporting Health, Safety & Training administration.

About the Client
Our client is a leading Australian coal mining operation with a strong focus on protected, efficient and sustainable mining practices. They operate a large-scale open-cut coal mine in Central Queensland and are committed to supporting their workforce, local communities and ongoing operational performance.
About the Position
The HST Officer will provide administrative support across the Health, Safety & Training department, with a focus on data entry, document control, reporting and maintaining accurate records. The role will also assist with training administration, health assessment bookings, purchasing and general coordination to support the smooth operation of the HST team.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage data entry and processing within HST systems, including Intelex.
· Provide administrative support to the Health, Safety & Training team.
· Raise purchase requisitions and process SES invoices.
· Track departmental spend, accruals and forecasts.
· Maintain and upload training documentation through Pegasus.
· Coordinate external training and health assessment bookings.
· Maintain accurate document control and records management.
· Prepare and maintain reports relating to work hours, safety data and other HST metrics.
· Ensure records and documentation are accurate, up to date and compliant.
· Assist with general administration and coordination across the HST department.
Experience Required
· Previous experience in an administration role, preferably within mining, resources or a similar high-compliance environment.
· Experience with data entry, reporting and maintaining accurate records.
· Strong document control and records management experience.
· Experience using systems such as Intelex or similar HSE/administration platforms.
· Experience with training administration and coordinating bookings would be advantageous.
· Strong written communication, grammar and proofreading skills.
· High attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
· Previous experience supporting Health, Safety & Training functions would be highly regarded.
