About the role

This role combines the financial and corporate accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of BlueRock's financial position while also supporting group wide corporate matters such as statutory compliance, audit, risk and governance, board processes and corporate records.

The role is responsible for month-end reporting, balance sheet integrity and statutory compliance, alongside leading the annual financial statements audit, preparing documentation for Board and Committee meetings and managing the cap table of the company. Success in this role is built on a strong technical accounting foundation, meticulous attention to detail, a solid procedural mindset, and the ability to proactively ensure the company’s corporate governance calendar is being maintained.

What you'll be doing





- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records for BlueRock's corporate entities and select client companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and lodge ASIC forms and filings including annual reviews, changes to company details, and share structure updates
- Support Board and committee meetings - preparing agendas, papers, minutes and resolutions
- Maintain the compliance calendar and risk register tracking key governance, risk and regulatory obligations across the group
- Assist with drafting and reviewing governance policies and procedures and help embed them across the business
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements affecting corporate governance and risk, and flag implications to stakeholders
- Support the ongoing management of corporate structures for BlueRock's group of subsidiary and related entities
- Help deliver company secretarial support to BlueRock's advisory clients as part of our broader service offering
- Liaise professionally with directors, external legal advisors and regulators as required

Requirements

We want to hear from people who have:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in an accounting or professional services firm of a similar size, including exposure to audit or tax related work
- Relative understanding of general accounting principles a bonus but not essential
- A solid working knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001 and ASIC requirements
- Understand the relationship between governance, risk management,



internal controls and corporate compliance
- Mentor and support Assistant Accountants and Bookkeepers
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture consistent with BlueRock's values
- Strong procedural mindset with high attention to detail • Strong communication skills
