Warehouse Assistant

- $35.00 per hour + Penalties

- Monday to Friday | 38-hour week | Saturday work available

WorkPac are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant for a local marine company in Darwin. This role is Monday to Friday, paying $35.00 per hour plus penalties.

Our client is a respected provider of marine maintenance and repair services, supporting a range of commercial vessels and marine assets. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality workmanship in a safe, team-focused environment.

What You Will Be Doing

- Assisting mechanical tradespeople and blasters/painters with daily workshop activities

- Operating a forklift to receive, move, and dispatch materials and marine components

- Packing and preparing parts, materials, and supplies for transport

- Moving boat, barge, and ship components throughout the yard

- Completing general yard maintenance and workshop housekeeping duties

- Using power tools, drills, grinders, and oxy-cutting equipment as required





- Maintaining a secure and organised work environment while adhering to site safety procedures

What You Will Need

- Current Forklift Licence

- Current Driver's Licence

- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist across a variety of tasks

- Experience using power tools, drills, grinders, and oxy-cutting equipment (preferred)

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
