About the Client:

Our client is Australia's leading provider of waste management, recycling and resource recovery services, delivering comprehensive waste solutions to residential, commercial and industrial customers nationwide. Its operations encompass the collection, transportation, processing and responsible disposal of a broad range of waste streams through an extensive network of collection vehicles, recycling facilities, transfer stations and licensed disposal sites. In addition to managing general waste, the company is committed to maximising resource recovery and promoting sustainable waste management practices by diverting recyclable materials from landfill wherever possible and supporting environmental stewardship across its operations.

What You Will Be Doing:

-Coordinate daily waste collection, segregation, transport, and disposal activities while ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, site waste management plans, and client procedures. Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety interactions, while monitoring workforce performance and promoting a strong safety culture.

-Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and fleet maintenance, and operate waste management equipment, vacuum trucks, forklifts, and associated plant as required. Ensure waste manifests, tracking documentation, and reporting are completed accurately,



while maintaining high housekeeping standards across waste management and storage areas.

-Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity, and environmental performance, and support Supervisors and Site Management in achieving project objectives. Contribute to efficient day-to-day operations while maintaining compliance, safety, and environmental standards.

What You Will Need:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

- Dangerous Goods Licence

- Valid HR Driver’s Licence

- Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain

- Eligibility to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
