About the role

Based in Carlingford, this role will report to the Chief Assets & Investments Officer and have 5-8 direct reports covering management of the property portfolio, including the following key services:

- leasing and lease advisory services;

- facilities management;

- project management (owned and leased properties);

- planned and responsive maintenance;

- fire and other compliance; and

- managing the property data systems.

The successful candidate will be a proven strategic thinker who is results-driven and can engage, lead and motivate a team to provide outstanding services.

You will be the trusted property adviser providing general property advice on all aspects of the property lifecycle and responsible for delivering a ‘fit for purpose’ property portfolio for a wide range of asset classes.

You are also expected to:

- Communicate strategically across a wide base of service managers to ensure their property expectations and issues are heard early, formulated into collaborative solutions and then delivered them through your team.

- Enable each of the building users through your expertise to development individual asset management plans, with client agreed levels of service, that detail the property investment required.

- Empower your team’s talents, skills and capacity to deliver a wide range of complex projects and services.

- Demonstrate personal and skilled commitment to Wesley Mission’s vision,



mission and values.

- Plan for the future and evolving property needs of the organisation.

- Calculate and project the CAPEX and OPEX budget required for the planned work and manage the team within the budgeted costs envelope.

Essential criteria

- Experience in the full life cycle of property asset management.

- Proven track record in:

- Property and facilities management across a diverse portfolio

- Preventative and responsive maintenance management

- Facilities service delivery across multiple sites

- Fire safety systems implementation and oversight

- Insurance and risk compliance

- Contract procurement and management

- Maintenance scheduling, planning and modelling

- Management of capital project and operational budgets

- Delivery of projects to budget, program and scope

- Ability to undertake detailed project feasibilities.

- Skilled in using property and asset management systems (eg Green Tree, SPM)

- Leadership experience in managing others to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
