Ballarat Golf Club is seeking a reliable and motivated Labourer to join our Course Maintenance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for an ongoing role.

This is a hands-on outdoor role supporting our Greenkeeping team with the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the golf course. It would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, takes pride in their work and is happy to get stuck into a variety of tasks.

Previous golf course or turf experience is not essential, with training provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting the Greenkeeping team with general course maintenance and presentation.

- General labouring duties across the golf course and surrounding areas.

- Assisting with bunker maintenance, including raking, edging and moving sand.

- Assisting with turf repairs, seeding, laying turf and renovation works.

- General gardening, landscaping and vegetation maintenance.

- Using hand tools, power tools and course maintenance equipment as required.





- Assisting with the set-up and preparation of the course for competitions and events.

- A team player with positive communication skills.

- Able to work independently when required.

You’ll be joining an experienced Course Maintenance team and working across one of the region’s premier golf courses.
