Clinical Care Manager – Residential Aged Care An exciting opportunity is available for a highly experienced aged care clinical leader to join a large, established residential aged care home in South West Sydney.
n
This is a senior clinical leadership position within an approximately 135-bed residence, offering the opportunity to lead an established care team while working closely with the Facility Manager and broader leadership team.
n
We are looking for an accomplished aged care professional who can provide strong clinical direction, develop and mentor teams, and maintain excellent standards across clinical governance, quality, compliance and resident care.
n
The Role As Clinical Care Manager, you will take responsibility for clinical leadership across the residence, including:
n
n
Providing leadership, guidance and support to clinical and care teams
n
Overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred resident care
n
Maintaining strong clinical governance, quality and compliance standards
n
Supporting accreditation and regulatory requirements
n
Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives
n
Monitoring clinical risk, incidents, documentation and reporting
n
Coaching and developing clinical leaders and care staff
n
Building positive relationships with residents, families and key stakeholders
n
Working closely with the Facility Manager and senior leadership team
n
Creating a positive, accountable and high-performing clinical culture
n

About You
n
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum 5 years' aged care clinical leadership experience
n
Significant leadership experience within residential aged care
n
Previous experience within a large 100+ bed aged care residence
n
Experience as a Clinical Care Manager, Care Manager, Director of Care, Facility Manager or similar senior clinical leader
n
Strong knowledge of aged care quality standards, compliance and clinical governance
n
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop clinical teams
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
n
Strong clinical systems, reporting and digital documentation capability
n
A genuine commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for residents
n
