Our Theatre Technicians are the quiet achievers who keep our operating theatres running flawlessly, ensuring patients receive the safest, most precise care possible.

This is a permanent part-time opportunitiesand your duties in this role will include:
n
n
Prepping surgical theatres for a variety of different procedures
n
Performing cleaning and sterilising duties
n
Assisting in the theatres where required by other clinical staff
n
Maintaining surgical equipment and implements
n
Transporting and supporting theatre patients.
n
n
What we're looking for
n
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.
n
You will also bring:
n
n
A minimum of 12 monthsTechnician experience within an operating theatre
n
Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent is desirable
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
Comfortable working in a diverse team
n
Flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role
n
Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures
n
