About the Role:
n
In support of the project we are now seeking highly energetic Utility - Housekeeping Attendants to deliver high standards of accommodation and village presentation at Echidna Gully Village.
n
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary focus will be on cleaning and accommodation services, it forms part of a multi-skilled Utilities team, with responsibilities extending across kitchen, laundry, and general village operations as required.
n
This role is on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role.
n
Roster – 7 days on / 7 days off (12hr shifts) - Day Shift Only
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Clean and service accommodation rooms (routine and changeover cleans)
n
Clean bathrooms, amenities, and communal areas
n
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
n
Manage linen changeovers, including bed making and collection
n
Operate laundry facilities (washing, drying, folding)
n
Replenish linen and consumables
n
Replenish items such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies
n




Monitor stock levels and report shortages
n
Assist with kitchen or food service areas during peak periods if required
n
Support general cleaning across the village, including outdoor communal areas
n
Follow cleaning procedures and workplace safety standards
n
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
n
Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and maintenance issues
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
n
Experience in accommodation, camp, or hospitality environments desirable
n
Ability to work efficiently and independently
n
Strong hygiene and cleanliness standards
n
Reliability and consistency
n
Ability to work autonomously
n
Teamwork and flexibility
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
Current driver's license (mandatory)
n
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
n
Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last six months upon request.
n
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
n
