Expressions of Interest Field Service Hydraulic Technicians

We're looking for experienced, trade qualified Field Service Technician's to join our team in Newcastle
n
This is a hands-on role covering hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs, installations and breakdown maintenance across a diverse customer base, both onsite and in the workshop.
n
You'll work autonomously in the field while backed by a close-knit team, representing Berendsen Fluid Power on customer sites with reliable, high-quality service.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Breakdowns & Field Service: Attend customer sites to carry out hydraulic troubleshooting, repairs, and breakdown maintenance
n
Hydraulic Diagnostics: Fault find and diagnose issues on hydraulic systems and components to restore performance
n
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed strip and inspect reports, including measurements and parts identification, ensuring compliance with specifications
n
Technical Documentation:



Read and interpret engineering drawings to guide repairs and installations
n
Customer Support: Build strong relationships with customers through skilled, dependable service delivery
n

About You
n
n
Trade qualification in Fitting, Hydraulics, or similar
n
Strong experience with hydraulic systems, components, and cylinder repairs
n
Proven strip & inspect reporting experience
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Current driver's licence
n
Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
n
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
n
Solid communication skills with a customer-focused approach
n
