We are seeking a motivated Junior Store Person to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in warehousing, stores, logistics and manufacturing support. About the Role
n
Working within our Stores team, you will support production by ensuring materials, components and equipment are available where and when they are needed. You will be involved in a wide range of warehouse and logistics activities, including:
n
n
Receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers
n
Stock control, storage and inventory management
n
Picking parts and kits for production and spare parts orders
n
Supporting Kanban and stocktake activities
n
Processing and preparing materials and components for production
n
Assisting with component assembly and stores-related tasks
n
Organising freight and transport bookings
n
Completing local pick ups and deliveries
n
Supporting fabrication and fitting teams with parts and kits
n
Assisting with dispatch preparation and quality checks
n
Contributing ideas for continuous improvement within the stores area
n
Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work environment
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
Basic mechanical aptitude
n
Confidence using technology, email and computer systems
n
Good organisational and time management skills
n
A current driver's licence (advantageous but not essential)
n
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
n
Warehousing or stores experience (desirable but not essential)
n
