We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Specialist to join a well-established global consumer products organisation based in Clayton.
n This is an initial
6-month temporary contract
, with the potential for extension. Working as part of the Direct-to-Consumer team, you will play a key role in delivering a premium customer experience across a portfolio of leading home appliance brands.
About the Role n
This is a hands-on customer service and order management position where attention to detail, empathy and strong communication skills are essential.
n You will manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure a seamless experience. You'll also become a product expert, providing customers with accurate information and supporting the resolution of any issues or escalations.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Manage customer orders from initial receipt through to delivery
n
Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
n
Provide accurate advice regarding product availability, discontinued products and delivery timeframes
n
Maintain accurate customer and order records within SAP and internal systems
n
Coordinate returns, refunds and exchanges as required
n
Liaise with internal Logistics, Finance, Sales, Marketing and After Sales teams
n
Work closely with third-party logistics partners to coordinate seamless deliveries
n
Follow up and resolve customer escalations
n




Ensure customer interactions and order information are accurately documented
n
Support the wider team with projects and ad hoc activities as required
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with customers and takes pride in delivering an exceptional service experience.
n You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience in customer service, order management, administration or a similar role
n
Strong experience dealing directly with customers via phone and email
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
A high level of empathy and a customer-first approach
n
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
n
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
Confidence working collaboratively within a team
n
Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
n
The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
n
n
Experience within consumer products, retail, home appliances or a similar environment would also be advantageous.
