The Mayflower is an exciting new hospitality venue coming to Bull Creek, and we're looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead it from day one.
n
This is a rare opportunity to help build the team and culture, shape the venue's operating standards and take genuine ownership as The Mayflower establishes itself within the local community.

The Role
n
As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of The Mayflower, leading the team and ensuring the venue delivers consistently across service, food, beverage and guest experience.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Recruiting, training and developing a strong team
n
Creating a positive, accountable and high-performing workplace culture
n
Overseeing daily venue operations across all service periods
n
Maintaining excellent standards of service and presentation
n
Managing rosters, wage costs, stock control and key operating costs
n
Driving revenue while protecting the guest experience
n
Ensuring compliance with RSA, workplace safety and venue procedures
n
Building relationships with regulars and the wider Bull Creek community
n
Working closely with the group's senior management team
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is confident, hands-on and genuinely enjoys being present on the floor.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n




Previous experience managing a high-volume hospitality venue
n
Strong leadership and people management skills
n
A proven ability to recruit, train and retain a great team
n
Sound commercial understanding, including wages, COGS and venue profitability
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
A calm and practical approach when working under pressure
n
A strong understanding of compliance and responsible service
n
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
n
n
Most importantly, you will lead from the front, set explicit expectations and take pride in building a venue that both guests and staff want to return to.
