We are seeking a motivated Reservations Agent to join our team on a
full-time fixed-term contract
, reporting to the Reservations & Distribution Manager. This position is offered to provide

Reward and Recognition Program
You will be responsible for:
Processing reservations and enquiries across all booking channels
Accurately entering and maintaining reservations within Opera
Completing pre-arrival checks to ensure guest profiles, preferences and booking details are up to date
Responding to guest, corporate and travel agent enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Developing positive relationships with regular guests, clients and booking agents
Coordinating with Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless arrival experience
Maintaining knowledge of current room rates, packages and promotions
Contributing to the achievement of departmental service and performance objectives
Ideally you will have:
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Previous experience using Opera Cloud and/or Opera PMS is preferred
Ability to multitask and work accurately and efficiently in a busy workplace
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Previous Reservations, Front Office, Hospitality or Tourism experience will be advantageous
Availability to work Saturdays as part of a 7-day rotating roster
