About the role
n
We're looking for a Retail Performance Lead to manage a portfolio of United Petroleum sites across Melbourne's outer south east and Gippsland.
n
This is 12 month hands‐on role, is for someone who is comfortable being on the road, working with different personalities, tackling challenging situations and holding people accountable to high standards.
n
You'll take ownership of the performance of multiple sites, working directly with retailers and site teams to improve sales, customer experience, compliance and operational performance.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Managing and building relationships across a multi-site portfolio
n
Driving sales, profitability and overall site performance
n
Coaching and developing store teams and operators
n
Identifying underperforming sites and putting improvement plans in place
n
Having the confidence to manage difficult conversations and challenging situations
n
Ensuring sites meet operational, safety, food safety and customer service standards
n
Using performance data to identify opportunities and drive results
n
Supporting new site openings, changeovers and operational improvements
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who has experience managing multiple locations or sites,



ideally within:
n
n
Petrol & convenience
n
Fast food / QSR
n
Multi‐site retail
n
Hospitality or other high‐volume, quick‐paced environments
n
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Proven experience driving sales and commercial performance
n
Strong multi‐site operational leadership experience
n
Confidence coaching, influencing and holding people accountable
n
The ability to deal with difficult people and challenging situations
n
Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure
n
A hands‐on, solutions‐focused approach
n
Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
n
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
n

The territory
n
n
Ideally based in Melbourne's outer south east or Gippsland, including Pakenham, Warragul, Traralgon or surrounding areas.
n
The role covers sites from Melbourne through Gippsland to Cann River, so regular travel and occasional overnight stays are required.
