About the Role:
As a
Field Service Technician / Mobile Fitter
, you will be responsible for servicing,



maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting heavy equipment in the field and at customer sites. Your work will include:
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on heavy machinery
Preventative and breakdown maintenance
Working on trucks, heavy mobile equipment and fixed plant
Completing mechanical maintenance and servicing
Performing construction and maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting mechanical issues and identifying root causes
Working safely and efficiently across different sites and environments
Completing manual and physically demanding tasks as required
Communicating effectively with customers, supervisors and other team members
About YouTo be successful in this position, you will have:
A recognisedtrade qualification
RelevantHigh Risk Work Licences
Minimum2 years' post-apprenticeship experiencein the metal, manufacturing, mining or heavy equipment industry
Proven experience working ontrucks, heavy machinery and fixed plant
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance requirements
Positive understanding of the operational characteristics of a variety of heavy equipment
Sound understanding ofWork Health & Safety legislation
Proven ability to perform skilled construction, mechanical and maintenance tasks
Ability to confidently undertake a range of manual tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
A practical, logical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
Ability to assess difficult situations, identify causes, evaluate options and implement effective solutions
A strong safety focus and professional approach to field service work
