Join Vertical Scope Group's (VSG) Professional Services Division in Canberra as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and experienced TSPV-cleared Cryptography Security Engineer to join our award-winning team in supporting critical Defence and National Intelligence Community programs.

About the role:
n
n
Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting cryptographic solutions within complex enterprise, government or classified ICT environments.
n
Experience with Key Management Systems (KMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and encryption technologies.
n
Experience supporting cryptographic key lifecycle processes, including generation, storage, rotation, archival, recovery and destruction.
n
Experience with PKI operations, certificate lifecycle management and secure communications technologies.
n
Experience integrating cryptographic services with enterprise platforms, applications and infrastructure services.
n
Understanding of encryption technologies used to protect data at rest and in transit.
n
Experience supporting security assessments, risk management, security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
n
Familiarity with Australian Government security frameworks and requirements, including the ISM and PSPF.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary technical teams.
n




Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation, security artefacts, operational procedures and implementation guidance.
n
Demonstrated ability to operate at SFIA Level 4 or equivalent.
n

The role is Canberra-based and primarily onsite, with occasional work-from-home arrangements considered. Applicants must hold a current AGSVA TSPV security clearance.
