Remedial Massage Therapist
to join our growing team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This is a

As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, providing therapeutic massage services to clients with various musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and rehabilitation needs. Key responsibilities
Conduct thorough initial consultations and ongoing assessments of clients to identify muscular and soft tissue issues, postural problems, and rehabilitation requirements
Develop and implement individualised remedial massage treatment plans tailored to each client's specific condition, goals, and recovery timeline
Perform a range of remedial massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, and soft tissue mobilisation
Collaborate effectively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care
Maintain detailed and accurate treatment notes and client records in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
Contribute to a supportive and professional clinic environment that prioritises client safety, dignity, and wellbeing
Stay current with continuing career development and industry best practice standards in remedial massage therapy
What we're looking for
Current registration with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) or equivalent recognised professional body
Completion of an accredited remedial massage qualification recognised within Australia, typically including practical experience
Demonstrated experience working with clients presenting with musculoskeletal injuries,



chronic pain conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology relevant to soft tissue therapy and musculoskeletal conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Professional and empathetic approach to client care, with a commitment to evidence-based practice
Ability to work independently and use clinical reasoning to adapt treatment approaches based on client response and feedback
Current First Aid and CPR
Willingness to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards and duty of care obligations
