Position Summary :
n
The Labourer is responsible for all manual work to complete tasks. This role may also include operating plant and plant equipment when requested by a supervisor. This position must work in line with company safety plans, procedures and non-negotiable's required by our clients. The position is also responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained and in good order to prevent breakdowns and stoppages.

Physically able to complete manual labour tasks as required
n
Interest in the industry with enthusiasm in learning how to operate excavation plant and equipment
n
Able to build effective relationships with clients and staff
n




Ability to analyse processes and ensure continuous improvement to avoid mistakes
n
Forward thinking to avoid mistakes and to report near misses
n
Good interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard

Deliver to set quality controls and job fulfilment as set by the client/s

Work closely with client and team to deliver operational benchmarks

Ensuring that all activity levels required to deliver performance indicators are met
n
Follow up with client and staff issues as they arise
n
Load, unload and move construction materials around the worksite
n
Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
