Steelfixers | DIDO – South of Gympie DIDO from Brisbane | Full Camp & Meals Provided We are currently seeking experienced Steelfixers to join the team on the upcoming project commencing in approximately 3-4 weeks. This is a great chance to secure ongoing project work on a major infrastructure project, with full camp facilities and meals provided while on site.

The Opportunity

Location: South of Gympie, Queensland
n
Start: Approximately 3-4 weeks
n
Roster: 10 days on / 4 days off (subject to final confirmation)
n
Hours: 6:30am – 5:30pm (could be longer depending on the day)
n
Days: Monday to Sunday, including weekends
n
Travel: DIDO from Brisbane and surrounding areas preferred
n
Accommodation: Full camp and facilities provided
n
Meals: Provided while on site
n

What We're Looking For
n
We are seeking experienced Steelfixers with a strong background in civil construction, infrastructure or major projects.
n
n
Previous experience as a STEELFIXER
n
Experience working on large-scale civil or infrastructure projects
n
Ability to read and interpret drawings
n




Experience with reinforcement steel, tying and installation
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Ability to work long shifts and a project roster
n
Reliable transport and willingness to DIDO
n
Relevant tickets, licences and construction qualifications
n

Rates & Conditions
n
n
Normal Time: $60 per hour
n
Overtime paid at 1.5x & 2.0x
n
LAFHA: $100/day
n
Travel: Paid for travel to and from site, capped at 3 hours each way (paid at normal time rate)
n
n
Overtime structure
n
n
Monday–Friday: 8 hours normal time, 1.5x up to 10 hours, then 2x thereafter
n
Saturday: First 2 hours at 1.5x, then 2x thereafter
n
Sunday: 2x all day
n
