In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a team delivering enterprise grade BI, analytics and data driven insights across Transport for NSW.
n
Develop, enhance and maintain BI reports, dashboards, data models and visualisations to support decision making.
n
Design and refine dimensional models and reporting structures using best practice BI standards.
n
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements and resolve data or reporting issues.
n
Deliver intuitive, accurate and user focused BI products in a complex, matrixed environment.
n
Embed data quality, governance and continuous improvement practices.
n
Leverage emerging analytical technologies to improve efficiency, insights and customer outcomes.
n

About you
n
n
Bring strong expertise in BI development, data modelling, analytics and data visualisation.
n




Navigate complex stakeholder needs and deliver high quality reporting solutions.
n
Communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
n
Collaborate well within multi disciplinary and matrixed teams.
n
Turn data into meaningful, actionable insights.
n
Have experience delivering BI solutions in large organisations.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in data analytics, BI or a related field.
n
Experience creating visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or similar BI tools.
n
Knowledge of data visualisation design principles, standards and best practices.
n
Understanding of data warehousing, analytics and reporting processes.
n
Experience with data preparation, integration and resolving quality issues.
n
Understanding of spatial data concepts, including geospatial formats and projection standards.
