About the role
Full time permanent position based in North Ryde, NSW. Reporting directly to the Organisational Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of Dementia Australia's DEI Strategy, priorities and initiatives
Providing specialist advice on inclusion, accessibility, cultural safety, psychological safety and equitable workplace practices
Partnering with leaders, People & Culture and employees to deliver DEI programs, campaigns, learning and engagement initiatives
Building inclusive leadership and workforce capability through practical tools, resources and learning
Using workforce data, employee feedback and lived experience to identify barriers, trends and opportunities for improvement
Reviewing policies, systems and people practices to strengthen equity, accessibility and inclusion across the employee lifecycle
Coordinating DEI governance, reporting, benchmarking and external programs, including RAP, WGEA and AWEI
Building effective internal and external partnerships to drive sustainable improvements in workplace culture and employee experience

Salary perks:
We offer all employees the opportunity to salary package up to $15,900 each year for living expenses and up to $2,650 each year for meal and entertainment benefits.
Leave allowances:
In addition to your annual leave allowance, we offer one day of paid birthday or day of significance leave, paid days off during our end of year closure period (if these fall within your regular work days), enhanced personal leave and extended parental leave for all parents. You will also receive 17.5% annual leave loading and the option to purchase additional leave.

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, social sciences, diversity and inclusion or a related discipline
Experience with workforce analytics, people metrics and HR systems
Experience supporting accreditation, benchmarking or compliance frameworks such as WGEA, AWEI, Rainbow Tick and disability inclusion frameworks
Experience collaborating with Employee Resource Groups, employee advocacy programs or lived-experience-led initiatives
Knowledge of disability inclusion, neuroinclusion, accessibility and workplace adjustment practices
Builds and fosters stakeholder relationships, internally and externally to drive Dementia Australia?s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy
Strong advocating, influencing and negotiating skills, and work collaboratively with others to achieve outcomes
