Our client is a leading organisation within the resources sector with a significant pipeline of capital projects across its WA operations.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join a high-performing project procurement team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction projects.
About the Role You will provide end-to-end contracts and procurement support across a portfolio of capital projects.
This is a commercially focused role combining strategic sourcing and contract formation with hands-on post-award contract management.
You will work closely with project delivery teams and contractors, providing commercial advice and ensuring contracts are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement and contracting activities across capital projects Develop sourcing and contracting strategies for project packages Manage tender processes, evaluations, commercial negotiations and contract awards Draft and negotiate construction, services, supply and consultancy agreements Provide commercial and contractual advice to project delivery teams Undertake post-award contract administration and contractor management Assess and manage contractor claims,



variations and contractual entitlements Support commercial negotiations and dispute resolution Monitor contractor compliance and commercial performance Build solid relationships across project, procurement and contractor stakeholder groups Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the contract lifecycle About You To be successful, you will ideally have: Strong contracts and procurement experience within resources, mining, construction or major projects Demonstrated post-award claims management experience Strong understanding of variations, contractual entitlement and commercial negotiations Tendering, evaluation, contract drafting and negotiation capability Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide practical contractual advice Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Law, Commercial Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded To Apply To apply, please submit your CV via SEEK or for a confidential discussion, please contact ******
