About the role We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering maintenance teams at Chef Fresh NSW.
You will lead Shift Supervisors, Engineering team members and Contractors across a fast-paced, 24/7 food manufacturing operation.
You will focus on building team capability, improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and driving protected, efficient maintenance practices.
You'll oversee maintenance planning and performance, engineering team members, contractors, site and Engineering specific KPIs along with continuous improvement initiatives, partnering closely with the production, warehouse, quality and safety teams.
About you and your skills Proven experience leading engineering and maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment Mechanical or Electrical Engineering trade qualification, along with frontline leadership experience Strong maintenance management experience within a high-volume production environment Experience with CMMS platforms such as MEX, Maximo or SAP Knowledge of automated processing and/or packaging equipment Experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis and equipment reliability Strong understanding of LOTO, permit-to-work and other safety systems Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety principles Strong commercial, communication and problem-solving skills What's in it for you?
