Company Overview A leading higher education institution is seeking an experienced risk leader to take the reins on enterprise risk maturity.
Backed by the governing Senate, this role offers genuine ownership of a risk transformation agenda and the mandate to shape how risk is managed across the institution.
Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and direction for the risk management function, including the Risk Management Framework Support Senate and senior management to determine and maintain the organisation's risk appetite and tolerance settings Provide expert advice and assurance across enterprise, operational, reputational, financial, compliance and people risks Oversee risk training and workshops that strengthen capability and culture Deliver clear risk reporting to senior executives and Senate committees, including top and emerging risks Partner with Internal Audit and other second line functions to embed the Three Lines model Lead and mentor the Risk team, setting clear priorities and ways of working Act as business owner of the GRC system,
