Trade Qualfied Trade Cert UK Ok White Card Construction Expereince Skillforce Recruitment are seeking 1st and 2nd Fix Carpenters for a construction site Core Job Responsibilities Flashing Installation: Measuring, cutting, bending, and installing metal flashing to chimneys, roof edges, valleys, corners, and ridges.
Waterproofing Sealing: Applying sealant and installing waterproof materials (e.g., flashings, membranes) to ensure roofs are completely waterproof.
Roof Maintenance Repair: Identifying and fixing leaks, replacing damaged flashing, and repairing roof components.
Structural Work: Installing roof battens, trusses, and structural timber in preparation for waterproofing and roof plumbing components.
Site Management: Reading technical drawings, setting up scaffolding safely, and ensuring all worksite activities comply with safety standards.
Key Skills Qualifications Technical Expertise:



Proficiency in handling sheet metal, specialized roofing tools, and understanding roofing systems.
Physical Ability: Capacity to work safely at heights for long periods and in various weather conditions.
Licenses Certifications: Common requirements include a White Card (construction induction) and a driver's license.
Experience: Previous experience in carpentry, framing, or specialised roof plumbing/sheet metal work.
