Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager – Australia Melbourne | Work from Home + Travel | Strong base + Car Allowance + Super + Bonus/Commission About the Company Our client is a global manufacturer of flexible packaging film, supplying converters, packaging manufacturers and brand owners across food, beverage, personal care, medical and other sectors.
Their film ends up in everything from bakery and confectionery wrap to beverage labels, personal care packaging and graphic arts applications.
With a strong local manufacturing presence in Victoria and a growing footprint across Australia and Recent Zealand, this is a genuinely global business with a well-established local operation.
The Opportunity Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add a Business Development Manager / Key Account Managers to their Sales team, covering the Australia and Recent Zealand territory.
This is not a standalone role — you'll be joining an established sales team, working closely with colleagues locally and internationally, while independently owning and growing your own portfolio of accounts.
You have opportunity to work from home in Melbourne, with travel built into the role: roughly once a month to the company's Victorian manufacturing site, occasional interstate travel to visit customers, and around two trips a year to Current Zealand.
What You'll Be Doing Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across converters, packaging manufacturers and brand owners in Australia and New Zealand Drive new business development alongside growth in existing accounts, with a volume target of approximately 1,000 tonnes of additional sales per year Build strong, technical, consultative relationships with customers who buy film to convert or spec into their own finished products Represent the business at customer sites,



industry events and on regular travel throughout the territory Maintain accurate account and activity records, with a CRM system being rolled out shortly — prior CRM experience will be well regarded Collaborate closely with the broader sales and technical teams to support customer outcomes About You Background in packaging, packaging materials, or a related manufacturing/industrial B2B environment Proven experience in Key Account Management, Account Management or Business Development, ideally managing a defined territory or portfolio A track record of growing accounts and hitting volume or revenue targets in a technical B2B sales environment Comfortable managing your own patch independently while being part of a wider team Based in or able to work remotely from Melbourne, with the flexibility to travel regularly, including occasional trips to New Zealand What's on Offer Base salary around $140,000 + car allowance + superannuation + bonus/commission structure Work-from-home flexibility based in Melbourne The opportunity to join a genuinely global manufacturer with strong local backing, at a time of real growth in the ANZ territory If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Steven on ••••@fuserecruitment.com with your resume.
