Construction & Infrastructure Lawyer About the Role: A leading legal practice is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded lawyer with 5+ years of post-admission experience to join its Construction and Infrastructure Team.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a sophisticated practice across construction, infrastructure and mining services while working closely with two experienced partners in a hands-on and accessible environment.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to both front-end contracting and back-end construction disputes, with the opportunity to work on matters from tender and contract formation through to claims, adjudication, arbitration and litigation.
The role provides meaningful responsibility, direct partner access and the opportunity to develop strong commercial and client-facing skills across a varied construction and infrastructure practice.

Key Responsibilities: Front-End Construction & Projects: Prepare tender documents and related contractual documentation.
Review contracts for clients and draft clarification schedules.
Draft, review and negotiate construct-only contracts, consultancy agreements, D&C; contracts, ECI agreements and services agreements.
Advise clients on contractual obligations, project risks and commercial considerations.
Back-End Construction & Disputes Provide strategic advice on claims management and contract disputes.
Prepare and respond to applications for adjudication under security of payment legislation.
Represent parties in arbitration proceedings.




Represent parties in litigation before the Supreme Court of Western Australia, District Court and State Administrative Tribunal.
Develop practical and commercially focused strategies for managing construction claims and disputes.
Work directly with clients and partners on complex construction, infrastructure and mining services matters.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of post-admission legal experience.
Previous experience within general litigation, a mixed front-end and back-end construction team, a construction and infrastructure disputes team, or a front-end construction or projects team.
Strong experience with construction contracts, commercial agreements and/or construction disputes.
Experience with claims management and security of payment adjudications is highly relevant.
Experience representing parties in arbitration and/or litigation.
Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
Commercially minded approach with the ability to provide practical and client-focused legal advice.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters, priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with partners,



clients and other legal professionals.
