Our client is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
Townsville based | Hybrid Competitive daily rate Opportunity to gain further experience across business analysis and technology delivery The Opportunity Working alongside experienced project and technology professionals, you'll support the analysis, documentation and delivery of business requirements across a range of initiatives.
The role will suit someone who is developing their Business Analysis career and is confident working with stakeholders, gathering information, documenting requirements and supporting project activities.
Key responsibilities include: Assist with gathering and documenting business requirements.
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes and challenges.
Support the development of business analysis documentation and process maps.
Assist with documenting current and future state processes.
Support the development of functional requirements and specifications.
Work collaboratively with project and technology teams to support delivery.
Assist with testing activities, including user acceptance testing.




Support the preparation of user documentation and other project materials.
Build positive working relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
Contribute to identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
About You Previous experience in a Business Analyst, Associate Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience with requirements gathering and business analysis methodologies.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to analyse information and communicate it clearly.
Experience documenting business processes, requirements or system specifications.
A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
Relevant qualifications in Business, Information Technology, Business Analysis or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
