The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Group Leasing Manager to execute the delivery of leasing initiatives across a multi-site retail portfolio spanning Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Based at our Australian Support Centre in Brisbane and reporting to the Group Property Manager, this role will manage day-to-day leasing communications, negotiations and administration across renewals, relocations, new stores, exits and lease documentation.
You will help ensure activity is progressed on time, within budget and in support of the Group's growth strategy across its markets and brands.
Working with internal stakeholders, landlords, retailers, legal advisers and external property partners, you will prepare recommendations and supporting documentation, identify and escalate risk, and help protect the Group's commercial interests.
What You'll Be Doing Support the execution of short, medium and long-term network strategy for new stores, relocations, renewals and exits across Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
Manage the lease portfolio, ensuring critical dates are met and appropriate tenancy arrangements remain in place.
Source, secure and negotiate market lease transactions in the best interests of the Group.
Review and inspect sites where required to assess works needed at lease renewal.
Manage leasing activity relating to forced relocations, closures and sublease arrangements while minimising commercial exposure and risk.
Support new-store growth in line with each brand's requirements.
Review, negotiate and appropriately document property leases.
Prepare detailed sign-off packs and supporting documentation for review and approval of finalised negotiations.
Identify and escalate risks, concerns, significant financial impacts and strategic matters appropriately.
Maintain positive, long-term relationships with landlords, retailers and property contacts.
Work closely with legal, management and internal stakeholders to secure strong commercial outcomes.




Manage appropriate support staff to ensure lease administration is completed effectively.
What We're Looking For You are an experienced leasing or property professional with strong commercial judgement and a practical, delivery-focused approach.
You can confidently manage negotiations and day-to-day leasing activity, build trusted stakeholder relationships and know when matters need to be escalated for approval.
To succeed in this role, you will bring: A minimum of 7 years' experience in retail leasing or property management.
Experience negotiating lease transactions for large, multi-site retail portfolios.
Experience reviewing and negotiating formal lease documentation.
Experience managing budgets and negotiating tenders and contracts.
Detailed knowledge of retail property markets and key external stakeholders.
Robust commercial acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and influencing skills.
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability.
Experience managing high-performing teams or support staff within a commercial environment.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Qualifications A degree in Property, Business, Commerce, Real Estate, Law or a related discipline is desirable, along with formal negotiation, commercial property or real estate qualifications.
