Human Resources and Personnel Mascot, Sydney, Australia Senior HR Business Partner – $160 + super Commencing ASAP 6-12 month Contract $160,000 + super (paid as hourly rate) Mascot Location (some flexibility) Our client is a leading Transport Logistics business with locations across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland.
Due to some internal re-structure and some key upcoming projects, they are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to support the senior leadership team for the next 6-12 months.
We're looking for someone with a strong blue collar background that can hit the ground running.
This role will report through to the General Manager of HR.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Providing strategic HR partnering and workforce solutions to leaders and stakeholders.
Supporting organisational design activities, workforce planning and position creation.
Developing and reviewing position descriptions and supporting role redesign initiatives.
Managing employee relations matters including performance management, investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
Providing industrial relations advice, including interpretation of Awards, Agreements and employment legislation.
Coaching and advising leaders on effective people management and leadership practices.
Supporting organisational change initiatives and workforce transitions.
Leading and supporting recruitment and talent acquisition activities when required.
Developing HR policies, procedures and people-focused initiatives aligned to organisational objectives.




Analysing workforce data and trends to support evidence-based decision making.
Delivering support across the full employee lifecycle from attraction and onboarding through to development, retention and separation.
Required Skills/Qualification Previous experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or equivalent role.
Strong Employee Relations and Industrial Relations capability.
Blue Collar industry experience, ideally in transport, logistics, warehousing etc Experience managing complex workplace matters and investigations.
Proven experience in organisational design, workforce planning and restructures.
Experience developing and reviewing position descriptions.
Sound knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
Experience supporting leaders through change and workforce challenges.
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to contribute across all facets of HR This is excellent opportunity for any candidate looking for a challenging long-term contract.
