We're looking for a Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our high-performing maintenance team on an equal-time 12-hour day/night roster.
This is a hands-on role supporting a fast-paced, highly automated production environment—perfect for a mechanically-minded tradesperson who thrives on problem-solving and plant reliability.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preventative and breakdown maintenance across bakery machinery, conveyors, ovens, provers and utilities
* Mechanical fault finding, diagnostics and repair of automated plant and equipment (conveyor systems, pneumatics, motor/gearboxes, pumps etc)
* Supporting production teams to maximise uptime, reliability and safety




* Identifying and implementing equipment improvement opportunities
* Contributing to a positive, team-focused maintenance culture on shift
What You Bring
* Mechanical Fitter/Trade Qualification (mandatory)
* Industrial, FMCG or manufacturing maintenance experience
* Strong fault-finding and mechanical diagnostics capability
* Experience with conveyors, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, motors
* A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong communication skills
