Executive Leadership Opportunity – Major Capital Projects A rare chance exists for an accomplished executive leader to join a highly regarded organisation at a pivotal stage of growth, helping shape and deliver a significant portfolio of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.
This newly created role is a key leadership appointment that will play an integral role in driving the organisation's substantial pipeline of existing and future projects, supporting the long-term sustainability and growth of the business.
Working closely with executive stakeholders, this position will provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of complex capital projects from final investment decision through construction, commissioning and handover.
The successful individual will lead a team of senior project leaders and be accountable for driving delivery excellence across safety, governance, commercial outcomes, project controls, risk management, stakeholder engagement and contractor performance.
Beyond project delivery, this role will have significant influence across organisational capability, project sequencing, resource planning and the successful execution of a growing capital project portfolio.
Key responsibilities include: Leading the delivery of multiple large-scale capital projects.




Managing and developing a team of senior Project Directors and Project Managers.
Driving governance, project controls and delivery standards across the portfolio.
Overseeing EPC and contractor performance.
Providing strategic input into project sequencing, capability and resource planning.
Engaging with executive stakeholders, steering committees and Boards.
Supporting annual business planning, budgets and business case development.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
We are interested in speaking with senior leaders who can demonstrate: Extensive experience leading major infrastructure, energy, resources or industrial capital projects.
A track record delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects with values typically exceeding $1 billion.
Strong commercial, stakeholder and contractor management capability.
Experience leading large project delivery teams through construction and commissioning phases.
Degree qualified engineer or equivalent technical background.
