About the Role We're looking for a motivated Surveying or Spatial Science Technician to join our field and office teams.
You'll support our Registered Surveyors by collecting, recording and processing spatial data, and by preparing plans and drawings that meet our exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Collect field data using robotic total stations, GNSS/GPS equipment, and 3D laser scanning technology Assist in topographical, boundary, detail and level, and construction setout surveys Process and reduce field data; perform routine computations and plotting Prepare, edit and revise survey plans, drawings and maps using industry-standard software (e.g. 12d Model, AutoCAD, or similar) Support UAV survey operations and point cloud/3D modelling projects Interpret plans, titles,



easements and relevant codes of practice Maintain equipment calibration and quality assurance standards Liaise professionally with clients, councils and other stakeholders as required What We're Looking For Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Surveying and Spatial Information Services (or currently studying towards one) Prior field experience with survey instruments highly regarded, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply Sound numeracy and attention to detail Competency with survey/CAD software (training provided) A current driver's licence Robust communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude Genuine interest in surveying and spatial science, with a commitment to ongoing professional development What We Offer Competitive salary: $ , commensurate with experience and qualifications Access to premium, industry-leading equipment (Leica robotic total stations, GNSS, UAV and scanning technology) In-house training and support for Continuing Professional Development Supportive, experienced team across our Sydney and the Central Coast Genuine career progression pathway toward registration as a Surveyor Variety of project work residential, commercial, subdivision and construction PETT****
