21st September, **** MECHANICAL FITTERS MILLING MACHINE OPERATORS | BRENDALE Mechanical Fitters Milling Machine Operators | $52–$58/hr | Monday–Friday | Brendale Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and Milling Machine Operators to join an established workshop based in Brendale .
These are ongoing positions with the potential for long-term/permanent work for the right candidates.
MECHANICAL FITTERS | 1–2 POSITIONS We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters with a strong mechanical background and proven experience working with pumps and gearboxes .
Your duties will include: Stripping, assessing, refurbishing and reassembling pumps and gearboxes Mechanical repairs, maintenance and refurbishment Identifying faults and assessing component condition Reading engineering drawings and technical documentation Using workshop machinery and hand tools Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, quality and safety Strong pump and gearbox refurbishment experience is essential.
MILLING MACHINE OPERATORS | 1–2 POSITIONS We are seeking highly experienced Milling Machine Operators with strong knowledge of machine setup and operation .
The successful candidates will have:



Extensive milling experience Strong knowledge of milling machine setup and operation Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience selecting tooling, setting speeds/feeds and completing accurate machining Strong understanding of machining tolerances and measurements Ability to work independently and produce quality components Previous workshop/manufacturing experience The more experienced you are with milling setup, the better!
