We're seeking a passionate, experienced, and driven Lead Educator (Group Leader) to join our team at St Luke's Long Day Care in Capalaba, conveniently located just minutes from the Capalaba CBD.
This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with sessions running between 6:45am and 6pm.
In this role, you will take the lead in our Nursery Toddler space, with a primary focus on our Nursery room.
You'll be supported with dedicated non-contact time in a structured and supportive environment, as well as ongoing mentoring from our Practice Excellence team, giving you the professional development and guidance you need to truly thrive in a leadership role.

and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment Utilise dedicated non-contact time to plan, document, and reflect on the educational program Engage with mentoring support from the Practice Excellence team as part of your ongoing professional development Build robust, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow educators Participate actively in ongoing professional and personal development Promote the service within the local community, aligned with Catholic Early EdCare's values and philosophy Job Requirements: Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent — essential for this role Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain) Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 2 — Course 3 4 optional but highly regarded A valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills Previous experience in a lead educator or room leader role is highly regarded Why Join Us?
