Your New Company:
Join a well-established fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial office, healthcare, laboratory and education projects across Sydney.
Your Current Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day site management of fit-out and refurbishment projects ranging from commercial office upgrades through to specialist laboratory and education facility refurbishments.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing all on-site construction activities from start to completion
* Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site labour
* Driving program and ensuring key milestones are achieved
* Managing site safety and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and subcontractor management
* Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
* Monitoring quality control and defect management processes
* Managing procurement, deliveries and site logistics
* Maintaining project documentation and reporting progress to the Project Manager
* Ensuring works are delivered within live and operational environments with minimal disruption





What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects
* Experience delivering office, healthcare, laboratory, education or institutional projects
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety requirements and quality processes
* Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills
* Ability to work within occupied and live environments
* Trade qualification or relevant construction background highly regarded
* Current White Card
* First Aid Certificate preferred
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
