We are working with an established private mental health service in Sydney seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist for an initial 3–6 month VMO locum engagement, with a genuine opportunity to transition into a longer-term permanent position.
The role offers solid daily remuneration alongside a manageable clinical workload, with approximately 9–10 patients per day across a mixture of new patient assessments and ongoing follow-up reviews.
The opportunity:
$2,500–$3,000 per day

About you:
Specialist registration in Psychiatry with AHPRA
FRANZCP or recognised equivalent specialist qualification
Current Australian working rights
Ability to meet standard VMO credentialing requirements
Availability to provide consistent cover across the agreed locum period
