From securing grants and sponsorships to engaging community champions, fundraisers, donors, businesses, and supporters, you'll help unlock the resources that allow our programs to thrive. Every conversation you have, every relationship you build, and every prospect you create will directly contribute to expanding our impact.
Key responsibilities
Finding and pursuing new fundraising, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities
Building genuine relationships with businesses, donors, and community supporters
Assisting with grant applications, sponsorship proposals, and funding submissions
Supporting fundraising campaigns, events, and community initiatives
Helping tell the story of The Shaka Project and the impact we create




Working closely with our leadership team to achieve fundraising goals and grow our network
About you
A people person who enjoys networking and building relationships
Proactive, confident, and willing to think creatively
Experience in fundraising, sales, business development, marketing, community engagement, or a similar role
Strong communication and organisational skills
A passion for making a difference and contributing to something meaningful
Grant writing or sponsorship experience is a bonus but not essential

Since ****, The Shaka has delivered over 800 Free Suicide Prevention workshops to Schools, Sporting Clubs, Worksites, and community organisations all over Australia.
