We're people supporting people, and we're looking for experienced and dedicated Lifestyle Assistants to join our growing team.
About the role
You'll provide support centred on each person and their individual needs.
This may include supporting people with complex support needs, psychosocial disability and behaviours of concern.
You'll work across Supported Independent Living, depending on the role and each person's support requirements.
Our services operate seven days a week.
Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, active overnight shifts and sleepovers.

What you'll be doing
Supporting people with personal care, household tasks, daily routines, community participation and meaningful activities.
Building respectful relationships that promote dignity, choice, privacy, safety and independence.
Following individual support plans, health and allied health plans and behaviour support plans.
Providing higher intensity supports only within your training, demonstrated competence and each person's individual support requirements.
Completing accurate and timely progress notes, incident reports and other required documentation.
Recognising and promptly escalating changes in wellbeing, safety concerns, incidents and suspected abuse or neglect.
Communicating clearly with colleagues, health professionals and each person's support network.
Following the NDIS Code of Conduct, NDIS Practice Standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Where a behaviour support plan includes regulated restrictive practices,



following all applicable authorisation, training, implementation and reporting requirements.

What we're looking for
At least 12 months of paid experience supporting people with disability, including people with complex support needs, psychosocial disability or behaviours of concern.
A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), or another relevant qualification.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
A calm, respectful and professional approach.
A positive attitude and commitment to ongoing learning.
The ability to follow plans, complete documentation and work safely as part of a team.
Availability across a seven day roster, including weekends, active overnight shifts and sleepovers.
What you'll need
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
A current Working with Children Check appropriate to the state and role.
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
A willingness to complete all required induction and participant specific training, and demonstrate competence before providing supports.
