Part time Massage Therapist – Clinic & Community Work
Focus on Physio is seeking a
Part-Time Massage Therapist
to join our growing teams in Benowa and Southport. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality therapeutic massage services in both our clinic setting and community-based service. As a part-time position, this role offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and wellbeing. You'll work alongside our multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists and allied health professionals, contributing to our commitment to holistic patient care and recovery.
Key responsibilities
Deliver professional massage therapy treatments to clients in both clinic and community settings
Conduct thorough client assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
Communicate effectively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Provide clients with advice on self-care, stretching and lifestyle modifications to support treatment outcomes
Maintain a clean, safe and professional treatment environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure positive therapeutic experiences
Participate in continuing professional development and stay current with best practice in massage therapy
What we're looking for
Current registration or qualification as a massage therapist recognised in Australia
Demonstrated experience in therapeutic massage within a clinical or healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and musculoskeletal conditions




Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Professional and empathetic approach to client care
Ability to maintain detailed and accurate clinical records
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance or willingness to obtain one
Experience in community health programmes or aged care settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of evidence-based practice in manual therapy and rehabilitation
