About the role
We are seeking aDiploma Qualified Educatorto join our passionate team at Riverwalk Robina Early Learning Centre in Robina, QLD.
This is afull-time positionoffering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives during their most formative years.
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care in accordance with the National Quality Framework and our centre's educational philosophy.
You will contribute to creating engaging learning environments where children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively whilst building positive relationships with families and colleagues.
Key responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational programmes and activities based on each child's individual interests, needs and abilities
Provide safe, supportive and stimulating care for children in your designated room or area
Observe and assess children's development and learning, documenting progress and sharing insights with families and colleagues
Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with children, families and team members
Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards, including proper cleaning, sanitisation and infection control procedures
Support children's transitions,



routines and settling-in processes whilst responding with sensitivity to individual needs
Encourage children's independence, creativity and problem-solving skills through play-based learning
Communicate regularly with families about their child's development, achievements and wellbeing
Contribute to a collaborative team environment and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards and centre policies
What we're looking for
A valid Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised qualification
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe)
A current Working with Children Check clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children's holistic development
The ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to centre culture
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A flexible, patient and empathetic approach to working with young children and families from diverse backgrounds
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
