SERVICE ADVISER – 12 MONTH MATERNITY POSITION

Snowy River Newcastle, located at Heatherbrae, is looking for an experienced and organisedService Adviser / Warranty & Parts Adviserto join our busy dealership on a12-month maternity leave position.
This role would suit someone with previousService Adviser, Warranty Clerk, Parts Adviseror automotive/caravan dealership experience who enjoys working with customers, technicians, suppliers and manufacturers.
While customer service and service advising experience is highly regarded, themain focus of this position is warranty administration, parts coordination and supporting the service department to keep jobs moving from start to finish.
THE ROLE
As our Warranty & Parts Adviser, you will play an important role in coordinating warranty and parts requirements across our dealership.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and processingmanufacturer warranty claims from start to finish
Checking warranty coverage and ensuring claims meet manufacturer requirements
Preparing accurate warranty documentation and claim submissions
Liaising with caravan manufacturers, suppliers and warranty departments
Following up outstanding warranty claims, approvals and payments
Coordinating warranty repairs with technicians
Identifying and ordering parts required for warranty and service jobs
Liaising with parts suppliers and manufacturers regarding availability and delivery
Tracking parts orders and ensuring parts are available when required
Assisting technicians with parts identification and warranty requirements
Booking and coordinating caravan servicing, repairs and inspections
Preparing accurate job cards and repair orders




Preparing quotations and obtaining customer approvals where required
Communicating with customers and keeping them updated throughout the repair process
Managing customer expectations and resolving service issues professionally
Ensuring completed jobs are accurately invoiced and closed
Maintaining accurate warranty, parts and service records
Supporting the Service Manager and wider service team as required
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who isorganised, reliable and experienced in a dealership or service environment.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience as aWarranty Clerk, Parts Adviser or Service Adviser
Experience working in an automotive, caravan, RV or similar dealership environment
A good understanding of vehicle/caravan parts, components and repairs
Experience processing warranty claims and dealing with manufacturers
Strong parts identification, ordering and coordination skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong administration and computer skills
Excellent attention to detail, particularly with warranty documentation
The ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities
Confidence communicating with technicians, customers, suppliers and manufacturers
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
A professional approach and a strong commitment to getting the job done correctly
