About the role
Brighton Dermatology is seeking aDermatology Nurse (EN or RN)to join our dedicated clinical team inBrighton, VICon a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse with an interest in dermatology to work closely alongside our dermatologists and develop your skills across a broad range of dermatological treatments and procedures.
The successful candidate will play an important role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting the clinical team and day-to-day operation of our practice.
Key responsibilities
Assisting withUV phototherapytreatments and patient care
Providing patients withskincare and topical treatment consultations
Performing treatments includingextractions, LED, TCA, PDT and cantharidin
Assisting dermatologists with a range ofprocedures and treatments
Providing patients withpost-operative advice, wound care and follow-up care
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is clean, prepared and ready for use
Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining clinical equipment and instruments
Maintaining high standards ofinfection control, hygiene and clinical safety
Completing accurate and timelyconsultation and treatment documentation
Supporting the smooth flow of patients through the clinic
Providing a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience for all patients
What we're looking for
CurrentAHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
Previousdermatology nursing experience is highly regarded




A genuine interest in developing or expanding your knowledge and skills in dermatology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, professional and patient-focused approach
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate clinical documentation
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small, collaborative team
Strong understanding of infection control and clinical safety
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Experience with dermatological procedures, phototherapy or cosmetic treatments is desirable
