Job Description
Remuneration: $133,603 to$143,125 per annum
The role isresponsible for conducting forensic assessments, reports, interventions,
and caseformulations.
Some of theprimary accountabilities of the Principal Practitioner include:
Perform the administration, scoring andinterpretation of validated assessment tools to inform structuredprofessionaljudgementto deliver on CVEU key services and outcomes
Develop, implement, and deliver intervention for VEoffenders
Prepare intervention progress and completion reportsfor VE offenders
Provide quality, accurate and timely information torelevant stakeholders in relation to VE offenders' risk and harm, includinginitial, intermediate, and long-term risk mitigation strategies encompassingcase management, referrals, and other interventionrecommendations/actions
Engage in evidence based best practiseformulation,assessment,reporting, and intervention for VE offenders
Manage an ongoing and long-term case load of VEoffenders




Deliver health promotion and harmreductionstrategiesfor VE offenders, where relevant
Make informed referrals to appropriate alliedhealthprofessionalsand/or service providers
Support the development and delivery of state-widetraining, mentoring, and assistance in the management of VE offenders for QCSstaff
Provide re-entry planning, support, and communityreferrals for VE offenders, including undertaking communitysupportinterventionsessions/meetings with family and community-based support networks
Initiate, develop, and maintain productiveworkingrelationshipswith key stakeholders who may present with differing priorities
Lead and actively contribute to CVEU knowledge baseof evidence based best practise for VE offender intervention, programs,research, practises, legislation, policy, and procedures
