About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to join our team, providing high-quality, person-centred support to participants across North Brisbane.
This role suits someone who is patient, adaptable, and genuinely committed to helping people live with greater independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each participant's care plan
Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
Support participants with community access, appointments, and social activities
Assist with mobility and transfers, following individual support plans
Provide companionship and encourage participant independence and skill-building
Accurately document shift notes, incidents, and any changes in participant condition
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and individual support/behaviour plans
Communicate professionally with participants, families, and the broader support team
Essential Criteria




Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Working with Children Check (if supporting participants under 18)
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
Robust communication skills and a genuine, caring approach to support work
Ability to work independently and follow individualised support plans
Flexibility to work casual/relief shifts, including some evenings, weekends, or short notice
Good to Have
Manual handling training/certification
Hoisting experience (mechanical/manual lifting equipment)
Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)
PEG feeding experience/training
